Hannah Compton performs her junior recital.
Hannah Compton is in her third year at UNCW, pursuing a Bachelor
of Arts in Music and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a
concentration in Economics. Hannah began learning violin at age 8, and
continued her study by attending arts magnet schools in her hometown of Greensboro,
N.C. Hannah supplemented her public education through involvement with the
Greensboro Symphony Youth Orchestra, UNCG Summer Music Camp, Southeast Honors
String Festival, and All-County and All-Western Region orchestras.
Currently, Hannah plays with the Accidentals chamber ensemble and the
Wilmington Symphony Orchestra. In the fall of 2016, Hannah began instructing private
lessons, group violin classes, and serving as a business intern through
the UNCW Community Music Academy, where she has enjoyed her teaching
experience and developing her arts administration knowledge.

Ravel and Manuel De Falla.
