Opera Wilmington presents their first winter production, the seasonal family favorite Amahl and the Night Visitors, fully staged and with the Opera Wilmington Orchestra.

This written-for-television work (tailor-made for the post-Christmas season) tells the story of a chance encounter when the three wise men stop at a peasant’s dwelling on their way to find the baby Jesus. Music, mischief and miracles ensue. At 50 minutes and sung in English, this lighthearted, moving short opera is perfect for families.
Starring Opera Wilmington favorites:
Maria Beery (The Mother)
Rusty Kling (King Caspar)
Quentin Lovette (King Melchior)
Carl Samet (Balthazar)
Kyle Miller (The Page)
