Event Details - Visions007 Film Festival & Conference

Visions Film Festival & Conference was founded in 2006 to showcase local films and scholarship at UNCW. It has since evolved into a can’t-miss, international summit. Last year, Visions6 introduced the Visionary Panel, in which a group of young film professionals offer advice, share their stories, and answer questions. After last year's great success, Visions007 is bringing back another panel of young professionals - six of which were UNCW students - with expertise that can help students transition from the classroom to the industry. This year, Felix Thompson, winner of Visions1 “Excellence in Narrative Award” (2010) and the "Audience Award for Best Narrative Feature" at Tribeca Film Festival (2015), returns to UNCW to deliver the Keynote Address.
