ABOUT THE ARTIST

Shanna Collins is a senior at UNCW pursuing a B.M. in Music Education. In her time at UNCW, Shanna has performed for several performance seminars and was selected for the Fall 2019 Honors Recital program. She was a selected soloist for the UNCW Chamber choir performance of the Mozart Mass in C Major, K. 257 in the spring of 2020. Shanna has been a dedicated singer of the UNCW Chamber Choir and Concert Choir for three years. She is the 2020-2021 recipient of the Department of Music senior award, the William F. Adcock, Jr. Scholarship. Shanna is also the 2020-2021 recipient of the Alma W. Adcock Music Education Scholarship and the recipient of the 2020 Department of Music’s Outstanding Music Research paper award.
