About the ensemble
In cooperation with the UNCW Department of Music, the OLLI New Horizons Band provides an ensemble experience for adult brass, woodwind and percussion players interested in making music. Dominic Talanca, conductor

    The band welcomes all adults who currently are playing their instruments, as well as those individuals who participated in their school music programs..
    Band members participate in weekly full band rehearsals.

DEPARTMENT OF MUSIC CONCERT GUIDELINES FOR UNCW STUDENTS
Arrive on time: at least 10 minutes before start of concert
•   Arrive at the concert venue at least 10 minutes before the posted concert time. 
 
Use of electronic devices during performances
   •   use of computers, tablets, phones is not allowed during performances. Anyone using an electronic device will be asked to put it away. Noncompliance may result in being asked to leave the event.
